ROOF-SOLAR TILTED TPO

The mounting for photovoltaic panels thermally welded to a synthetic membrane

Roof-Solar Tilted TPO is a photovoltaic mounting system used for installing solar panels on flat synthetic roofs. It is used on buildings with TPO membrane roofs. Without ballasting or perforation of the membrane, the installation of photovoltaic panels is facilitated.

The use of 60 or 120 cm Roof-Solar Tilted TPO rails results in a linear load distribution (and not a point load), thus reducing the risk of puncturing.

The advantages of ROOF-SOLAR TILTED TPO

Advantages of the system

A technically evaluated mounting

A resistant solution, the Roof-Solar Tilted TPO photovoltaic mounting system has undergone several tests to be evaluated by a Technical Evaluation (Avis Technique – ATEc): resistance to climatic loads, water tightness, condensation, and corrosion resistance. The overall results of these tests confirm that this mounting system is reliable.

A minimum load

Roof-Solar Tilted TPO allows solar panels to be installed on the roof in such a way that the added load on the building structure is as low as possible. The pre-assembled rails with the TPO retaining strips are thermally welded to the TPO synthetic membrane. Ballasting is therefore not required.

Tilting in the blink of an eye

The tilting structure can be assembled prior to mounting on the roof. Light and easy to handle, it is attached to the rail in just a few seconds and gives you the option to tilt your solar panels at 10°. If you want a different tilting angle, this will require a custom-made structure.

A premium metal

The Roof-Solar Tilted TPO photovoltaic process uses 95% aluminium. This metal has many advantages including being light, strong, recyclable and highly resistant to corrosion.

SIMPLE TO IMPLEMENT

The Dome Solar photovoltaic systems, Roof-Solar TPO and Roof-Solar Tilted TPO, are evaluated by a Technical Evaluation (ATEc).

The membrane is installed using mechanical fastening, meaning the strips are secured with appropriate screws and plates. The joints are then hot-air welded, fusing the upper and lower membranes into a single unit.

INSTALLING SOLAR PANELS ON A TPO FLAT ROOF

Rails of the Roof-Solar TPO and Roof-Solar Tilted TPO photovoltaic mounting systems are hot-air welded to the TPO membrane, either manually or semi-automatically. Once the external clamps and then the universal clamps are clipped in place, the photovoltaic panels can be installed.

Thanks to the hot welding technique, no ballast needs to be added to the building’s roof, reducing overall weight. Additionally, membrane perforation is not required, eliminating the risk of water infiltration.
