Our Roof-Solar Bitumen on a supermarket

For the project carried out in Compiègne, in the Oise region, in 2020, Terre Solaire installed our Roof-Solar Bitumen on the 1,560 m² roof of the Intermarché supermarket, with a capacity of 300 kWp.

This photovoltaic installation is designed to support the end customer’s environmental policy. It is being deployed in several areas:

• Lighting optimization;
• Reducing the consumption of refrigeration units;
• Choice of refrigerants;
• Parking spaces with recharging stations;
• Sorting and recycling packaging waste;
• Self-generation of part of its electricity consumption from solar power.

The output of the 940 panels covers an average of 25% of the building’s daytime electricity needs.
