DOME SOLAR (the leading company in the manufacture of photovoltaic panel mounting systems) has just integrated its affiliated company KOGYS (specialist in the manufacture of systems for mounting photovoltaic panels on the purlin on steel deck and sandwich panel roofs)..
AAfter acquiring a stake in the BACACIER Group last July, DOME SOLAR has announced that it has signed an agreement to take over its affiliated company KOGYS, on 20 December 2018.
KOGYS, created in 2006 and located in Montauban, is specialised in the design, manufacture and marketing of photovoltaic panel mounting systems. The company is a major player in mounting system design. After technical approval, their systems are mounted on the purlin, i.e. directly in the structure of the building, on steel deck roofs with the Kogysun + version and on sandwich panel roofs with the Kogysun i+ version, in order to guarantee excellent mechanical resistance.
As proof, in 12 years KOGYS has obtained 7 ATEX (Experimental Technical Approvals) and 5 ATEC (Technical Approvals) from the CSTB (Scientific and Technical Centre for Building).
With this transaction, DOME SOLAR consolidates its leading position in the manufacture of photovoltaic module mounting systems.
We are paving the way to be an indispensable partner in the construction of photovoltaic power plants for medium and large roofs. Today, for each type of roof, we can offer our customers solutions that have the most demanding certifications on the market in order to provide all the necessary guarantees to make their projects a reality.
With this acquisition, I am very pleased to see DOME SOLAR undeniably strengthen its position as the number one player in the market for photovoltaic module mounting systems.
